**Tacoma Triumphs over Chemeketa in a Close 2-1 Victory**

August 19, 2025, at Pioneer Park saw a compelling match between Tacoma and Chemeketa, with Tacoma edging out a 2-1 victory. Despite a quiet first half, the second half was filled with decisive action and strategic plays that captivated the sparse audience.

Both teams started cautiously, with neither finding the net in the first half. Tacoma ramped up the pressure in the second half, leading to a breakthrough in the 62nd minute. Chemeketa's defense, led by goalkeeper Josh Vargas, managed five saves but couldn't completely stem Tacoma's offensive tide.
