Centralia's Big 2nd Half Sealed the Deal Against the Storm at Home

Centralia used a dominant second half and a big night off the bench from Maximus Holliman to pull away from Chemeketa, 78–67, on Thursday afternoon at the Storm Center.
The game was tight early, with Centralia carrying only a 28–26 lead into halftime. After the break, the Trailblazers' offense opened up with a 50-point second half, turning a two-point edge into an 11-point final. Centralia shot efficiently (28-for-57, 49.1%) and hit timely threes (7-for-16, 43.8%), while Chemeketa struggled to match that pace, finishing at 36.6% overall (26-for-71) and 23.1% from three (6-for-26).
Holliman provided the difference-maker performance, pouring in 26 points in 34 minutes on an ultra-efficient 10-for-13 shooting and 6-for-8 at the line, adding eight rebounds and two steals. Shay Brannon added a strong all-around line with 20 points and 12 rebounds (7-for-11 shooting), and Clay Morgan chipped in 12 points and 11 boards for a double-double. Ahren Bee-Richards contributed 11 points, including three made threes.
Chemeketa was led by Ahmad Koroma, who scored 17 points on 8-for-16 shooting with eight rebounds. Jaylin Scott (Pictured - added 12 points and eight rebounds off the bench, while Treyvan Wilkerson scored 10. The Storm's perimeter shooting woes were highlighted by Gavin Aguilar's difficult day (2-for-15 overall, 1-for-10 from three).
Centralia also won the rebounding battle 45–40 and made its free throws at a solid clip (15-for-19, 78.9%), compared with Chemeketa's 9-for-16 (56.3%). Both teams finished with 14 assists, but Centralia's superior shooting efficiency and second-half surge proved decisive in the 78–67 win.
